Okay, I am Armstrong and this is my blog.

World of Warcraft

April25

I’ve been a fan of the Warcraft series for a long time. i played all of them from Warcraft 1 till recently which is the Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne. i like playing games, that i don’t deny. but it seems that i won’t be playing the latest Warcraft which is the MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) version of it.

Why? Firstly, i need a powerful computer to even support the game.

Minimum System Requirements

    Windows® System 2000/XP OS:
  • Intel Pentium® III 800 MHz or AMD Athlon 800 MHz
  • 512 MB or more of RAM
  • 32 MB 3D graphics card with Hardware Transform and Lighting, such as NVIDIA® GeForce™ 2 class card or above
  • DirectX® 9.0c (included) and latest video drivers
  • 6.0 GB available HD space
  • 4x CD-ROM drive
  • A 56k or better Internet connection

This is only the requirements.

Recommended Specifications

    Windows® System 2000/XP OS:
  • Intel Pentium® IV 1.5 GHz or AMD XP 1500+ MHz
  • 1024 MB RAM
  • 64 MB 3D graphics card with Hardware Transform and Lighting, such as NVIDIA® GeForce™ FX 5700 class card or above
  • Broadband Internet connection
  • Two-button scroll-wheel mouse

My RAM is only 384MB. So, i’m excluded from being a potential WoW citizen

Secondly, you need to pay a fee every month. i’m not against it or anything. they need the money to maintain the Warcraft World. problem is, i don’t have any monthly income yet to join the Warcraft community  sob sob.

Well, in case you don’t know, WoW can be very addictive. so addictive that a few deaths has been related to this game. so, it’s kinda scary. but experienced gamers (like me  heehe) can control ourselves now. not like when i was a kid playing computer games 24/7. anyway, for now, i’m just going to concentrate on my blog  See you in the future WoW.

Here’s the intro of World of Warcraft…

You’re missing out on the cult that is WoW :) We’ve bought our computers specifically to World of Warcraft requirements. It’s great to do quests from Thrall and have the little vendors tell me “For the Horde” or “zug zug”

I’ve been playing WoW online for over 3 years I think. Well if you ever changed your mind (in getting a new comp and play WoW!) look me up. I might be able to send you some gold to start with your journey.

Err.. that is, if you play Alliance in the same server with me. I have Horde character in other servers as well.
